Privacy Policy

The Rhodesian Ridgeback Breed Club provides an overview of what happens to your personal data and protected trade secrets when you visit its website on the IONOS SE cloud.

Personal data or protected trade secrets are all data through which you, your private company or your public institution can be identified as the data subject.

The association has commissioned the commercial website provider, IONOS SE, to provide its website and webmail addresses, as well as their hosting and support, in compliance with data protection regulations. Thus, IONOS SE collects all personal data and trade secrets of companies and public authorities on the association's website as a data processor and otherwise processes them (general term) in compliance with data protection regulations.

IONOS processes this and personal data open source according to the data security standards it has declared, securely and encrypted according to the SDL standard: Maximum security for our customers | IONOS .

Your very comprehensive DS declaration of IONOS SE under Data Protection Declaration - IONOS Terms and Conditions complies with the current standards of the EU GDPR according to the current legal status.

Since the EU Commission's adequacy decision of July 10, 2023, pursuant to Art. 45 (1) (f) GDPR for the USA, the transfer from Germany or Austria by processors of IONOS SE, IT providers or IT manufacturers, from the USA is considered GDPR-compliant without further notice. For the new security system, the soI.

Ttrans- AAtlantic Data- Privacy- FFramework, the major American IT providers and manufacturing companies, such as Google, Facebook, X, etc., have now self-certified themselves on the homepage of the American Department of Commerce for the new so-called Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy security procedure (Data Privacy Framework).

US IT providers and IT manufacturers are legally obligated to transfer their user data from Germany to the US. In doing so, certain user data may also be processed by the US intelligence services.

IONOS processes personal data from all relevantsocial media, especially from the USA as a third country, such as XING, Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly: Twitter), YouTube.

IONOS SE processes video content as personal data on YouTube and Vimeo. Your prior consent is obtained via an electronic click. You can refuse this consent if you do not want to allow I. to upload your personal video data.

By sending your mail to the association, you consent to the processing of your personal data and the association by IONOS in accordance with the above.

This data collection also includes saving your email address. The association uses this information to contact you, answer your inquiries, and process them if necessary. It also invites you to events, charitable activities organized by our association, to get to know the association, or to inform you about the conditions for joining the association. You will also be offered the association's newsletter on the website. You consent to receiving this newsletter, but you can also unsubscribe from it at any time with an electronic click.

Due to its non-profit nature, the association itself requires neither tracking, profiling, nor blogs, etc. to “collect data.” The same applies to the integration of Google Analytics by I. For all additional, unnecessary data processing, I. requires your consent, which you can refuse. Decide for yourself whether you want to share these parts. Alternatively, IONOS offers you data-saving settings if IONOS carries out additional services, including those from Google, in the background. In this case, the processing of your personal data by I. corresponds to IONOS’ legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to prevent potentially fraudulent activities from the internet on our website. These risks are constantly increasing with technological developments.

The same applies to Google's reCAPTCHA service. This integrates a JavaScript element into the source code, which loads the software in the background and analyzes your user behavior. The personal data is already used and analyzed before you click the "I am not a robot" checkbox. Google calculates a score based on the data, which is used, on the one hand, to determine whether the visitor is a human and not a fraudulent input from automated, machine-based processing (e.g., bots). On the other hand, it serves to prevent fraudulent bulk orders, which could pose risks to the infrastructure of IONOS or the association.

With ReCAPTCHA, IONOS also offers protection for users of the association's website and the association itself from becoming potential victims of cybercrime on the internet. The IP address transmitted by Google for this purpose is shortened and not merged with other Google data.

If IONOS SE transfers data to third countries (including the USA), appropriate guarantees for data transfer will be agreed with any processors or controllers in accordance with the requirements of Chapter V of the GDPR, unless the EU Commission has issued an adequacy decision for the third country concerned (usually the USA, see above) of an above-mentioned IONOS processor.

For this purpose, information such as name and email address are required. This data is used by the association to contact visitors to our website.

The legal basis for processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR via the cookie banner. Further information on cookies can be found at: https://www.ionos.de/cookies.

If you do not want HubSpot to collect your data, you can prevent cookies from being saved at any time by adjusting your browser settings accordingly. You can configure your cookie settings using the following link.

The legal basis for this is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
